We believe that each child is a unique and special person who need to be shown that it is okay to be that special person. We value an environment that encourages learning through creative play and we encourage the children to show us how they want to learn and explore, then help them further challenge themselves. We welcome all of our families to be actively involved in your child’s education and value your input to ensure that we are helping each individual child be successful in our program.
My name is Ashlie and I am a teacher in the Honeybee classroom. I started working at The Learning Gardens in August of 2008. I have been teaching for nine years. I have an associate’s degree from Madison Area Technical College and an Infant and Toddler Credential from University of Wisconsin-Platteville. I live in Waunakee and have a cat named Ally. In my free time I like to socialize with friends and family, bake, scrapbook, and I really enjoy being outside. I also play softball and like to babysit. If you ever need a babysitter give me a call because I would love to babysit. I look forward to working with you and your child.
Jacqui, Ladybug Teacher
Hello! My name is Jacqui and I am one of the Honeybee Teachers. I have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Madison College and are a level 12 on The Registry. I also love to use my Spanish education whenever I can in the classroom. I have two beautiful children named, Harris & Evelyn who also attend The Learning Gardens. They are twins and keep my husband and myself on our toes. What I love most about my time at The Learning Gardens is the atmosphere and energy. Children are happy, always learning and wanting to explore.
