The Ladybug Room
We believe that each child is a unique and special person who needs to be shown that it is okay to be that special person. We value an environment that encourages learning through creative play. We encourage the children to show us how they want to learn and explore and then help them further challenge themselves. We welcome all of our families to be actively involved in their child’s education and value your input to ensure that we are helping each individual child be successful in our program.
Lauren, Ladybug Teacher
Hello, families, I am Lauren and will be sharing your child’s journey at The Learning Gardens. I have been at The Learning Gardens since 2018 and have over 5 years’ experience in early childhood development as a Special Needs Aide, Teacher Assistant and now Co-Lead. I believe in helping children learn through play while providing love, support and guidance. Together with you, we will help your child grow and succeed!
I currently live in Madison but am originally from Ohio. Don’t worry, I’m still a big Packers fan. In my free time I enjoy reading, playing games, and relaxing while watching TV with my husband and cats. Let’s have a great year together!
Ashlie, Ladybug Teacher
Hello Families, I am Ashlie. Learning Gardens has been my second home for many years, I’m so happy to be back! I’m a level 13 on the registry. I have my Associate Degree from Madison Area Technical College and my Infant Toddler Credential from UW Platteville. I have been working in early childhood for 16 years. I love working with children, watching them learn and grow. I live in the Madison area and have a cat named Ally. In my free time I enjoy hiking, camping and bonfires.
