The Pea Pod Room
We have the very important role of caring for your child and encouraging their development in their first year. Our goal is to provide a high quality, nurturing and safe environment. Our hopes for your child are to encourage them to grow into a wonderful, curious and happy person. All activities are designed to stimulate their physical, intellectual, social and emotional growth.
Ashley, Peapod Teacher
Welcome families, my name is Ashley Siegel. I’m lucky enough to be one of the Peapod teachers! I started working at The Learning Gardens in September 2015. I have been working within the Childcare Field since 2013 working with children from 6 weeks old to 12 years old. My heart is with the infants. In June of 2014, I graduated from Blackhawk Technical Collage with my Associated Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently going back to school for my bachelor’s degree at UW-River Falls through the T.E.A.C.H. Program. I am a level 13 on The Registry. I was born and raised in Monroe, Wisconsin and currently live in Monticello, Wisconsin. When I am not working, I enjoy camping, spending time in the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and playing sports. I am eager to get to know you and your child and working together to make sure your experience is an amazing one. I look forward to meeting all of you! My hours are 7-4.
Roseanna, Peapod Teacher
My name is Roseanna Heins, and I have been in the child care field since August 2016. I started my career in the small town of Lodi, WI. Over the last few years, I’ve worked with various age groups, from infants and toddlers through school age. In the spring of 2021, I lived briefly in Tipton, OK; but then I found myself back in Wisconsin a couple of months later. Upon returning, I found my new home here at the Learning Gardens! After a summer of adventures with the school agers, I’m very excited for my next adventure with my favorite age…INFANTS! I love watching babies grow and learn new skills while their minds are just in the beginning stages of developing! A few things I enjoy doing in my free time are horseback riding, hiking, reading, camping, and I do a little bit of photography. A quote I like to live by is “Tell me and I FORGET. Teach me and I REMEMBER. Involve me and I LEARN.” – Benjamin Franklin
