The Learning Gardens Child Development Center, a local leader in early childhood education and childcare, is a licensed and accredited center, receiving a 5-star rating from YoungStar. Through our infant, toddler, preschool, 4k, and school age programs, we work with and support families with infants as young as six weeks old up to age 10. At The Learning Gardens, we believe children thrive in the security and stimulation of a high-quality program which links families and the center together. In doing so, we accomplish our mission of ensuring children acquire the skills they need to become productive members of society. We believe young children learn best through active involvement in an environment which is caring, child-directed, developmentally appropriate, educationally enriching, and embracing diversity. Please see the wonderful environment we will provide your family by taking a virtual tour.

Congratulations to Joe Barry and Cris Castro

Congratulations to Joe Barry and Cris Castro

Joe Barry and Cris Castro are our Employees of the Month for April and May. Joe Barry has been part of The Learning Gardens for more than 17 years. He teaches the 3-4 year-olds in the Apple Blossom classroom. Joe has a quiet and easy-going demeanor that creates an environment that is calming for children and teachers alike. Joe is incredibly responsible and approaches his job with professionalism and respect. We can always count on Joe to enter a situation with gentleness and a bit of humor.

Cris Castro is a relatively new teacher at The
Learning Gardens but has made a big impact over these several months. Cris started working in the Sunshine 4K classroom and since has taken on a float and support role. Cris is comfortable helping out in every classroom and shares his positive spirit with everyone. Cris has a take-charge personality and takes the initiative to organize and jump into tasks as needed. Cris is supporting the Honey Bees classroom as they transition with a new teacher.
