The Learning Gardens

The Learning Gardens Child Development Center, a local leader in early childhood education and childcare, is a licensed and accredited center, receiving a 5-star rating from YoungStar. Through our infant, toddler, preschool, 4k, and school age programs, we work with and support families with infants as young as six weeks old up to age 10. At The Learning Gardens, we believe children thrive in the security and stimulation of a high-quality program which links families and the center together. In doing so, we accomplish our mission of ensuring children acquire the skills they need to become productive members of society. We believe young children learn best through active involvement in an environment which is caring, child-directed, developmentally appropriate, educationally enriching, and embracing diversity. Classroom Availability

Our school remodel is complete and we are now adding some additional classroom spots to our roster. We have spots in most age groups. Please check out our Availability information for our openings.

Employees of the Month

We are excited to announce 2 Employees of the Month – Fernanda and Brianna – for the months of January and March respectively.

Fernanda is our Employee of the Month for January. Fernanda has proven to be an invaluable member of our team since day one. She is a highly organized educator who is also adaptable to the daily demands of her role. Fernanda's love and patience shine through in her interactions with students on a daily basis. We deeply appreciate Fernanda's positivity, professionalism, and strong teamwork skills.

Brianna is our Employee of the Month for March. Bri consistently demonstrates her willingness to assist wherever necessary, showcasing her dedication as the leader of our infant unit. Not only does she fulfill her role effectively, but she also steps up to lead the one’s unit when needed. Bri's commitment to going above and beyond is truly invaluable to our team, and we are incredibly grateful for her positive attitude, professionalism, teamwork, and infectious laughter.

Art Auction

Art Auction Showcase All of the classrooms participated in our art auction put together by our art teacher Ms. Faith. Ms. Faith started the art program here at The Learning Gardens this past November going around to every classroom every Thursday and Friday to help teach and expand their knowledge of the art world and all it has to offer. The art auction was held at our annual family feast before Thanksgiving. TLG Family and Staff Thanksgiving Feast

Please join us for the TLG Family and Staff Thanksgiving Feast. Chef Alex is making the turkey, stuffing, and gravy. Please bring a dish to pass for up to 6 to 8 people. This is our fun way of getting to know each other better. Families can meet, kids can play, you can ask your child’s teachers any questions you have, and, of course, WE FEAST! Harvest (Car)nival

Fall Celebration! To celebrate fall and Halloween, we are having dress up days in all of the classrooms during the week of October 30 – November 3. Monday (10/30) is Pajama Day so come dressed up in your favorite jammies. Tuesday (10/31) is Halloween so it’s Costume Day. Be prepared for Halloween and wear your Trick-or-Treating costume to school. Wednesday (11/1) is Sports Day. Come dressed as your favorite sports star or come ready to play your favorite sport! Smile – It’s School Picture Time!

October 25th and October 26th are School Picture Days! Andree Ring Photography will be here to capture your children’s biggest and best smiles. Siblings photos can also be taken. Then all you need to do is have your child come to school dressed in your favorite outfit (and maybe bring an extra one as a spare) and we will take care of the rest! Photo gallery links will be sent to you via email. Ordering is done online and photos will be sent straight to your home!

Chef Alex's Delicious and Nutritious Daily Menus

Chef Alex proudly provides each child with healthy and nutritious lunches and snacks to support their physical and mental development. The meals are prepared on site and the menu is designed to provide your child with a wide variety of well balanced, high quality foods each day. It is his hope to provide life adventures through food by offering a myriad of different cuisines. A morning snack, lunch meal and an afternoon snack is prepared for each of the Learning Garden's classrooms. Please know he will take great care in any restrictions or allergies that your child has.
