Infants

The Infant Unit

The infant unit is made up of 2 classrooms with a total of 16 children. The infants range between 6 weeks through 12 months old. The teachers within the infant unit work together to ensure all the children and families are happy and engaged.

We enjoy spending time outside on walks, having water play, and just getting messy! We are all very resourceful and are here to answer any questions that you may have, whether you are a first-time parent or a parent of multiple children.

Brianna W., Infant and Young Toddler Unit Leader

Welcome families! My name is Brianna.  I started working at The Learning Gardens in February 2022. I have been working in the childcare field, working with children ranging from six weeks old to five years old, since 2017. Through the years, I have found my heart is with the younger group. I started working on my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2017 but I took a break from school to focus more on working full time. I am a level 7 on the Wisconsin Registry. I was raised in Waterloo, WI and currently live in McFarland, WI. When I am not working, I enjoy camping, spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, and spending a lot of time outdoors.

Brianna G., Infant Float Teacher

Hello!  My name is Brianna and I have been working at The Learning Gardens since September of 2023. I love working with kids because they are all unique and I believe children learn best through hands-on experience. I am passionate about education and helping others.

I have worked in the Early Childhood Education field since 2019 and have worked with infants all the way up to thirteen years old. I am working towards a Human Services degree from Madison College.

I have lived in Madison since 2020. I have two dogs. In my spare time, I like to read and spend time outside. My past experience includes working as a summer camp leader and a special education paraprofessional.
