Welcome To The Summer Odyssey Program!
Summer is a time for exploration and discovery; where learning and play go hand-in-hand. Our exciting summer camp program offers a wide variety of exciting and new adventures for school- age children.
It is an opportunity to have a ton of fun making new friends, trying new things, practicing new-found skills and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Full day camp from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Summer Odyssey will run from June 12th to August 27th.

The program includes 1-2 field trips per week with destinations such as the Aldo Leopold Nature Center, the Children’s Museum, bowling, splash pads, Urban Air, Sky Zone, and more. A detailed calendar will be provided once arrangements are finalized.

Transportation will primarily be organized via a private bus service with additional support from the Madison Transit System. For parks/locations near The Learning Gardens, we will be going on walking excursions.

Casey, our music teacher, will be providing a special music program for our Summer Odyssey program. He will be working with the children to write their own personal song and record it with him.

Spanish, American Sign Language, and Art extracurriculars are also included in the program as well as a variety of other activities including reading book club, a writing workshop, cooking skills training, and many more.

We plan to utilize individuals from UW Madison and other local organizations to engage and educate the children.

Chef Alex will prepare an a.m. snack, lunch, and a p.m. snack each day.

Each student will receive two Learning Gardens T-shirts to wear during the field trips. These shirts will be laundered on-site weekly, and participants will get to take them home at the end of the Summer Odyssey Program.

All food, snacks, t-shirts, field trip transportation, and entry fees, if any, are included in the tuition and fees.

To enroll in the Summer Odyssey Program, simply complete the attached forms and submit to the office accompanied by a check for $912.50 ($50 registration fee, $75 materials fee, and an initial tuition payment of $787.50)*. The deadline for submitting the enrollment form and fees/tuition is March 7th, 2025.

All subsequent payments will be processed bi-monthly via ACH ($787.50 will be processed via ACH on June 15th, July 1st, July 15th, and August 1st.)

Admission to the program operates on a first-come, first-served basis. We only have 17 spots left for the Summer Odyssey Program.

Please be aware that family discounts are not applicable for the summer program.

Additionally, cancellations are not permitted; once you are enrolled, your participation is for the entire duration of the program.
