We are excited to announce our 2026 Summer Odyssey program!
The Summer Odyssey program is open to children who have completed five-year-old kindergarten and up to twelve years old.
Full day camp from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Summer Odyssey 2026 will run from June 11th to August 26th.
The program includes 1-2 field trips per week with destinations such as the Aldo Leopold Nature Center, the Children’s Museum, bowling, splash pads, Circus World, Chazen Museum and more. A detailed calendar will be provided once arrangements are finalized.
Transportation will be primarily organized via a private bus service with additional support from the Madison Transit System. For parks/locations near The Learning Gardens, we will be going on walking excursions.
Summer Odyssey also offers a variety of enriching activities, including Spanish, American Sign Language, Music, and Art extracurriculars, as well as reading book club, writing workshops, board games, science experiments, and many other hands-on experiences.
Chef Alex prepared an a.m. snack, lunch, and a p.m. snack each day.
Each student will receive two Learning Gardens T-shirts to wear during the field trips. These shirts will be laundered on-site weekly, and participants will get to take them home at the end of the Summer Odyssey Program.
All food, snacks, t-shirts, field trip transportation, and entry fees, if any, were included in the tuition and fees.
Fee arrangements: Bi-monthly payment of $815.00 with a onetime $50 registration fee and a $75.00 material fee.
Admission to the program operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please be aware that family discounts are not applicable for the summer program.
Additionally, cancellations are not permitted; once you are enrolled, your participation is for the entire duration of the program.
*Note: Enrollment is not confirmed until all required forms are submitted to the office and the initial tuition payment along with the material fee has been processed.
Summer Odyssey requires at least 10 participants to run. If the minimum is not met, families will be notified by March 15 to allow time for alternate summer planning.
