We use the FrogStreet Early Childhood Curriculum which guides our lesson planning, goal setting, and daily routines.
Frog Street’s curriculum for 3-year-olds is rooted in early brain-development research and includes a rich social-emotional curriculum that promotes executive thinking skills—such as problem-solving, self-regulation, flexible thinking, and decision-making—along with essential social and emotional competencies. Through consistent routines, meaningful interactions, and purposeful activities, children learn how to express their feelings, work cooperatively, build friendships, and develop confidence in their abilities.
The curriculum balances intentional, teacher-guided instruction with plenty of opportunities for child-directed play, recognizing that preschoolers learn best when they can explore, imagine, and make choices at their own pace. Individual differences are honored and supported, ensuring that every child feels valued and capable.
The Frog Street Pre-K program is a comprehensive, dual-language curriculum designed to meet the needs of diverse learners while supporting all developmental domains, including cognitive growth, language and literacy development, early math skills, science exploration, creative expression, and—importantly—social-emotional well-being.
Our goal is to nurture curious, confident, and emotionally resilient preschoolers who are ready for the next exciting steps in their learning journey.
